Extend your trip

We know that joining us on our special day will involve quite a trip for some of you, so why not make it the start (or the end) of a little holiday in France to make it even more worthwhile?

Here is a list of things you could do during your trip.

The Loire Valley

The Loire Valley starts only a good hour drive away from our venue. It is well known for its wine and its concentration of castles (more than 300). A popular way to visit it is to rent a bike, and cycle from castle to castle. Many companies offer services to move your bags from a hotel to the next one, so you don't have to worry about your luggage.
The most famous castle of the area is Chambord, built under Francis I in the 16th century, it is a remarkable example of the French Renaissance period.
During your trip in the Loire Valley, you could also pay your respect to Leonardo da Vinci, who is resting in a chapel of the Amboise castle, and visit other iconic castles such as Chenonceau, Azay-le-Rideau, Ussé, Chinon...

The Champagne

If you like this iconic bubbly wine, why not visit the region where it is produced?
Épernay, the champagne capital, is located a good two hours drive away from the venue. You could spend a couple of days visiting houses and tasting some royal beverage.

Paris

The French capital is only one hour thirty minutes away, so this is an amazing opportunity to spend some quality time in the city of lights. Whether you want to visit museums, shop in Parisian stores, enjoy French food or simply stroll through the streets of Paris, you can extend your stay for a few days.
